MarkClient Terms of Service
Effective date: October 7, 2026
NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT.
MarkClient (the launcher and the in-game client) is made by AdriMark LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us. Our Privacy Policy explains what data MarkClient uses.

Agreeing to these terms
You accept these terms when you agree to them while signing in to the launcher, when you tick the box at checkout, or when you use MarkClient. If you do not agree, do not use MarkClient.
Age: you must be at least 13 to use MarkClient. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and must give permission before you buy anything. Xbox accounts that Microsoft marks as child accounts can’t sign in to the launcher. If someone under 18 bought Plus without a parent’s permission, the parent can email us for a refund.
What MarkClient is
MarkClient is a quality-of-life client for Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Windows. You need your own legitimate copy of the game. MarkClient is free to use. Some features need MarkClient Plus (“Plus”), the paid option.
The only account involved is your Microsoft account. There is no separate MarkClient account.
Your license to use MarkClient
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use MarkClient on your own PCs for your own play, under these terms.
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent or redistribute MarkClient;
- modify it or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this despite this rule;
- remove our notices;
- use it to build a competing product.
MarkClient, its code, design and name belong to us (third-party parts belong to their owners and come with their own licenses, listed in the launcher’s About page). Everything not given to you here stays ours.
Feedback: if you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without paying you or owing you anything.
MarkClient Plus
- Plus is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription.
- Price: Plus costs at least the minimum price shown at checkout. Prices depend on your region: we use the country you connect from, and the launcher shows the prices for it. You may choose to pay more. Paying more is still a purchase of Plus, not a donation, and gives the same Plus features. The only extra is how your name looks in the Credits (see “Credits”). Paying more is optional and never needed for any feature. You can buy Plus once. After that, you can buy a Plus upgrade to the gold or rainbow name style by paying at least the difference to that level, at the prices for your region. You may pay more.
- Plus is sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record service (Stripe Managed Payments): Link is the seller for the payment. It handles payment, sales tax or VAT, receipts and payment support, and its terms apply to the transaction. Your receipt and bank statement show Link (LINK.COM*).
- What you buy: a license to the Plus features as they exist when you buy. Features may change, move between Free and Plus, or be removed.
- Features included with MarkClient Plus may later become available to free users.
- We may stop developing or updating MarkClient at any time. Features that run on your PC keep working as far as they can without updates, but game updates may break them, and we can’t promise that MarkClient will work with future versions of the game.
- Online features (the status display, the cosmetics service and features that need sign-in) depend on our server. We may end them. Where we can, we will tell you in the launcher at least 30 days before.
- Plus is personal and non-transferable. Do not share, sell or give away your Plus license or license key. A license key works for one in-game name.
Refunds
In short: all purchases are final, unless the law says otherwise or our online Plus features shut down within 30 days of your purchase.
- All purchases are final, except where the law requires otherwise. This does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty or not as described.
- Courtesy refund: if we permanently shut down the online Plus features within 30 days after your purchase, email us at [email protected] and we will refund you.
- Plus starts as soon as your payment goes through. Where the law gives you a cooling-off period or right to withdraw (for example in the EU and UK), Link applies it as its checkout terms describe.
- Link handles refunds for the payment itself. It may refund a payment within 60 days of purchase, for example to settle a support request. If a payment is fully refunded, Plus ends and your name leaves the Credits. A partial refund, or a refunded Plus upgrade, keeps Plus and lowers your Credits amount.
- Chargebacks: if you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend Plus while the dispute is open, and end it if the dispute succeeds.
Cosmetics and other virtual items
- Cosmetics and other virtual items are a limited, revocable license to use them in MarkClient. You do not own them.
- They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money and can’t be transferred or sold.
- We may change or retire them.
- Codes may be limited in number, may expire and may be disabled. They are void where prohibited.
Credits
- The Credits, in the launcher, thank Plus buyers who choose to be shown by showing their gamertag.
- Your name style depends on what you paid for Plus and any Plus upgrades together, in US dollars, minus refunds. The amounts are the prices you choose in the launcher, before any tax or VAT added at checkout. If you paid in another currency, we use the US dollar amount from checkout. A purchase at a regional price counts as the full US price it stands for.
- Under $10: a normal name.
- $10 or more, or the equivalent for your region shown in the launcher: a gold name, listed above normal names.
- $20 or more, or the equivalent for your region shown in the launcher: a rainbow name, listed at the very top.
- Only if you choose. Only adult Xbox accounts can choose this. Your gamertag appears in the Credits only if you tick “Show my gamertag in the public Credits” when you buy Plus, or turn on “Show me in Credits” in the launcher’s Settings later. It is off unless you turn it on. You can turn it off at any time, and your name leaves the Credits within an hour.
- The Credits show your current gamertag, updated when you sign in to the launcher.
- The Credits are part of Plus, not a separate product. We may change how they look or hide a name that breaks “Acceptable use”. If we end the Credits, we will tell you in the launcher at least 30 days before.
Referrals and creator program
- Do not refer yourself, use fake or extra accounts, or trick people into using your code.
- We may cancel rewards gained through abuse.
- Creators who get rewards for promoting MarkClient must say so clearly (for example “#ad” or “sponsored”), as the US Federal Trade Commission’s guides and similar laws require.
- We may change or end the referral and creator program at any time.
Events
Some events give out cosmetics or prizes. Where an event involves prizes, no purchase is necessary to take part or win. Each event may have its own rules, which we will post with it.
Acceptable use
- Use MarkClient to make your own play better, not to cheat.
- Follow the rules of every server you join. Servers can disable or forbid MarkClient features, and you are responsible for checking their rules.
- Do not attack, overload or reverse engineer our server, get around its limits, impersonate other players, or interfere with other users.
- Do not use MarkClient to break the law or Microsoft’s and Mojang’s terms.
Other services and servers
MarkClient works with services and game servers that we don’t control, such as Microsoft, Xbox Live, Stripe (Link), Discord and the servers you play on. We are not responsible for them, their content or what they do. Their own terms apply. A server or the game’s publisher may act against players who use game modifications.
Suspension and ending
- You can stop using MarkClient at any time by uninstalling it.
- We may suspend or end your access to Plus, online features or MarkClient if you break these terms, abuse the service, cheat, file a chargeback (see Refunds) or if the law requires it.
- If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] and we will review it.
- The sections on the license restrictions, feedback, refunds already owed, the disclaimer, the limit of liability, indemnity and disputes still apply after these terms end.
No warranty
MARKCLIENT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, YOU WAIVE THE WARRANTY AGAINST REDHIBITORY DEFECTS (LOUISIANA CIVIL CODE ARTICLE 2520 AND FOLLOWING).
MarkClient may stop working when the game updates. Using any game modification carries risks, including crashes, lost progress, or action by a server or the game’s publisher. You use MarkClient at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
In short: if something goes wrong, the most we owe you is $50 or what you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is more.
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, ADRIMARK LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROGRESS, ACCOUNTS OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF MARKCLIENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross fault, death or personal injury, or anything else that can’t be limited by law.
Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law while using MarkClient and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Trademarks and copyright
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Microsoft, Xbox, Xbox Live and Windows are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Discord, Stripe and Link are trademarks of their owners. MarkClient is not made, approved, endorsed or supported by any of them.
Inspirations: the Credits name other mods and projects that inspired MarkClient features, only to give them credit. MarkClient is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with them, and does not use their code, art or other assets. Their names belong to their respective owners.
Copyright complaints: if you believe something in MarkClient infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the details.
Export and sanctions
You may not use MarkClient where US export or sanctions laws forbid it, or if you are a person those laws forbid us to deal with.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will post the new version in the launcher with a new effective date. For important changes, we will tell you in the launcher at least 14 days before they take effect. Changes do not apply to disputes that started before them. If you keep using MarkClient after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
Notices
We send notices in the launcher or by email. You can reach us at [email protected].
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, but either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
General
- Entire agreement: these terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about MarkClient.
- Severability: if a part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- No waiver: if we don’t enforce a part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
- Assignment: you may not transfer these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them, for example if MarkClient is sold.
- Force majeure: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
